About Us
have done what a lot of us say we would like to do but don’t, wrote books about the things that interest them in the events that take place about them.
They have formed their own two-person publishing company, Annabelle Books, to produce their books. The books Annabelle has produced have been big sellers for the last ten years. Their success is in some ways surprising in that there are no murders in the books, no federal agents looking for terrorists, just the everyday, normal, wonderfully unique life that all of us enjoy.
Despite this rationality, just about everyone who has read their books feels personally gratified, relating what they write about to their own individual life experiences.
Stella enjoys cooking and has gained a well-deserved reputation for the wonderful meals she makes for both large and small dinner parties. Her first cookbook, Blueberry Peaches, Red Robin Pie, lives up to that reputation; presenting wonderful examples of the favorite meals she has enjoyed preparing. All of the recipes are Stella’s own and have been tried many times on her built in recipe critic: her husband, Paul.
is a native of Gulfport, Mississippi and has spent much of her life on the Gulf Coast. She received her training as an artist at William Carey College where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art in 1991. She has had numerous showings along the coast and her work can be seen in many of the regional art galleries.
Her paintings on the covers and pencil and charcoal drawings for Annabelle books have contributed markedly to presenting the spirit of the Mississippi Coastal scene depicted in the stories of the Gulf Coast contained in the books.
is a well-established Mississippi Coast artist whose murals decorate many of the buildings in his hometown of Ocean Springs. His series of pen and ink drawings of the offshore islands and coastal scenes are now valuable collectables and grace the walls of many of the regions houses. His richly detailed illustrations bring further life to Views from a Front Porch and his animated drawings in Blueberry Peaches, Red Robin Pie add a note of delightful whimsy to its recipes.
